How do we vote? Part 1 of 2: Know WHAT a government should do.
When you enter the public square, vote for justice. What’s justice? It’s whatever protects and upholds human dignity as defined by the fact that we’re all made in God’s image.

Isaiah 53
Do you see Christ in Isaiah 53? That Jesus is the Promised Messiah cannot be denied. Proof that God is the author of Scripture and Jesus its fulfillment is found in that one chapter alone, in the minute essential details exactly fulfilled in the death, burial, resurrection, ascension, intercession, coronation and salvation provided through Jesus Christ. Jesus Himself, the apostles of the New Testament, the writers of the New Testament in proclaiming the gospel point back to Isaiah 53 many, many times. Jesus referred to it. The apostles referred to it. The New Testament writers referred to it again and again and again.

That's My King Dr. S.M. Lockridge
Shadrach Meshach Lockridge (March 7, 1913 – April 4, 2000) was the Pastor of Calvary Baptist Church, a prominent African-American congregation in San Diego, California, from 1953 to 1993. He was known for his preaching across the United States and around the world. The following has been taken from his most famous sermon "That's My King" which he delivered in the 1970s.

We Must Obey God Rather Than Men
We’re in the world, we’re not of the world. We have a King and a Lord and His name is Jesus Christ. And Scripture is crystal clear as to how we are to submit to our Lord. In Romans chapter 10, familiar words: “If you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.” Salvation comes to those who confess Jesus as Lord.

T4G18 - Albert Mohler - And Such Were Some of You
The church is in the world, but worldliness must not be tolerated in the church. Expositing 1 Corinthians 5:1-6:11, Albert Mohler teaches on the church’s responsibility to judge the sin in the camp in order to better represent the holiness of God. In so doing, the clarity of the Gospel is preserved in the community of saints washed by and waiting for the Lord Jesus.

T4G18 - Ligon Duncan - The Whole in Our Holiness
We were created to live in complete obedience to our loving Creator, but in the fall, the whole of our being has been corrupted by idolatrous sin. Ligon Duncan traces the biblical storyline to show how Christ redeems his fallen people, renewing them to a whole-hearted obedience to the God of grace. Increasingly conformed to the image of Christ, Christians are to be distinct from the world in their love of God and neighbour.

T4G 2018 | The Message of the Cross - HB Charles
HB Charles observes that when “leaning over to reach the world, the church is prone to fall in.” Through the exposition of 1 Corinthians 1:18-25, Charles argues that the church must carry out her holy vocation—faithfully and confidently preaching the message of Christ crucified. In other words, the church must be the church.

T4G 2018 David Platt - Let Justice Roll Down Like Waters, Racism and our Need for Repentance
David Platt addresses the pressing topic of the church’s role in racial justice and reconciliation. A brief exposition of Amos 5:18-27 anchors Platt’s call to repentance from racist sin within the church. Moreover, he exhorts Christians to pursue multi-ethnic communities of faith united together in Christ.

Mordechai Mottel Baleston - How I found shalom.
I did not set out to convert away from being Jewish, and in fact I never have. I have embraced Jesus as my Jewish Messiah and my atonement, and many thousands of others who love their Jewish heritage have done the same thing. My wife is a Jewish believer in Messiah, and we value our heritage. As Messianic Jews we stand with the State of Israel, with our people, and most importantly, with our Messiah.

The Bible Project - Isaiah 1-39
Like Elijah, Jeremiah, and the other Prophets, Isaiah was called by God to deliver His messages to Israel for its welfare in the Book of Isaiah. But along with warnings against Israel's sin and rebellious ways came a message of hope in a new depth that would carry on for centuries after Isaiah's passing. This hope would be embodied through God's Servant known as "Immanuel," who will one day establish a new Israel and God's Kingdom on the earth.
Remarkably, Jesus does precisely that in His lifetime, fulfilling over 300 prophecies in Scripture that include intricate details of His death and resurrection foretold in Isaiah chapters 50 through 53.

The Bible Project - 1 Thessalonians
Paul's letter to the Thessalonians celebrates a flourishing Church. Despite persecution and suffering, believers stand strong in their commitment to Jesus. From the very beginning, following Jesus as King has produced a truly counter-cultural holy way of life that will sometimes generate suspicion and conflict among our neighbors. The way Jesus' followers respond to such hostility should always be with love, and they should meet opposition with grace and generosity.
